piercings for minors...

 - The youngest we will pierce earlobes at is 7 years old, there is no exception to this rule.

- For any non-earlobe piercings 

(cartilage, nostril, navel, etc.), KY state law requires a minor to be at least 16 years old.

- "Below the neck" piercings are restricted to individuals 18 years or older.

- All Minor appointments MUST be scheduled by calling the desk 502-473-7400 

- All Appointments for children under the age of  10 , have to be scheduled by the desk , there is no exception to this. If you schedule from the website for a minor the appointment will NOT be VALID 

 - Each appointment is 30 minutes long; it is important to be on time for your appointment. We understand that things happen outside of our control, so we have a 10-minute grace period. If you arrive after this 10-minute period, we will need to reschedule your appointment as we tend to stay booked and want to respect all our client's time as well as our own.

- The appointment allows time for you to pick out your jewelry, sterilize it, go over aftercare, and pierce you. A copy of our aftercare instructions will be sent to your email upon completion of the consent form. We pierce using sterile, single-use, hypodermic needles.

- We have a large selection of jewelry to choose from, and all jewelry options are biocompatible. Everything in the store is either implant grade titanium (used for dental implants) or solid 14k - 18k gold.

- There is a $40 piercing fee plus the cost of jewelry. Jewelry prices range depending on the jewelry choose.

- We do not use outside jewelry for fresh piercings.

- We are required by Kentucky state law to obtain notarized parental consent before we can pierce a minor. YOU MUST BRING THIS FORM, FULLY COMPLETED AND NOTARIZED, AND YOUR ID TO YOUR CHILD'S APPOINTMENT. If you don't have both the release form completed and your ID, we will not be able to pierce them

 - All minors must give us THEIR permission to pierce them. We want them to understand what is happening to their body, and how they need to care for their new piercing. We want every piercing experience to be positive and safe, so we will not force a child to be pierced if they don't want it, even if you the parent want it for them. That being said, there is not a cancellation fee should we start the process, and they decide they no longer want to go through with the piercing.

- We recommend at least 6 - 8 weeks of not submerging any fresh piercings in lakes, pools, oceans, hot tubs, etc. Please plan accordingly if you participate in any water activities.

- Traveling can cause fresh piercings to swell. Altitude changes via flying or humidity changes can cause them to swell or act differently than they did while here. If you have any plans for vacations, work trips, etc, we ask you to keep this in mind and consider getting pierced after you come back from traveling.

- Kids UNDER 10 MUST be scheduled Tandem ( two piercers ) which means you MUST call the desk to schedule
